Nomination Information

NOMINATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED

for the 2017 Distinguished Andrologist, Distinguished Service,
and Young Andrologist Awards

ASA members, please nominate individuals for our most prestigious awards.
Deadline: September 1, 2016


INSTRUCTIONS

To nominate a candidate for one of these awards, please submit a letter of nomination, the nominee’s CV, and a minimum of 2 and maximum of 5 supporting letters to: Gail A. Cornwall, PhD (Awards Committee Chair), email: Gail.Cornwall@ttuhsc.edu

Letters supporting a nominee may come from mentors, graduate and postdoctoral trainees, departmental or practice colleagues, collaborators, etc. All materials should be in .doc (Word) or .pdf format. Your letter of nomination should include specific reasons for nominating the individual for the award and their contact information. Nominations and supporting items must be received by September 1, 2016. If you have questions, contact the ASA office at (847) 619-4909.


DISTINGUISHED ANDROLOGIST AWARD

This is the highest award of the Society, presented annually to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the progress of Andrology. The recipient does not have to be a member of ASA.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD

This award recognizes an individual who has provided distinguished service to the American Society of Andrology. The recipient must have been a member of the Society for at least ten years, must have no direct affiliation with the organizational sponsors of the award, and must have served the Society in at least three of the following categories: (1) Chair of a standing committee; (2) Member of the Executive Council; (3) Editor of one of the Society’s Journals; (4) Chair of an Annual Meeting; (5) Officer of the Society.

MATTHEW P. HARDY YOUNG ANDROLOGIST AWARD

This award recognizes the contributions to the field of Andrology by an active member of the American Society of Andrology who is less than 45 years old at the time of the award, who has made significant contributions to the field of Andrology.
