A faculty position is available on a NIH K12 grant at the University of Washington, Department of Medicine or another medical specialty department within the School of Medicine, for an internist, endocrinologist, urologist or other physician with a research interest in male reproductive health research. This position requires the applicant to hold an MD (or foreign equivalent) or MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent) or DO (or foreign equivalent) degree and have completed residency or fellowship (or foreign equivalent) by the beginning of the period of support July 1 st 2014. Qualified candidates must have a strong desire for a career in academic research, and will devote 75% of their time to research activities. Technical expertise in research methods and prior publications are required. Successful applicants will be appointed to the full-time faculty at the acting instructor (non-tenured) or acting assistant professor level (non-tenured) depending on qualifications, and should review the website (http://depts.washington.edu/mrhr/index.html) for more details and to identify a research mentor with whom a tentative research plan should be developed as part of the application process.
