It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Stuart B. Moss, PhD, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Many of us knew Stuart from his research contributions and work at the National Institutes of Health. Since 2009, Stuart had been a program director in the Fertility and Infertility Branch at National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), where he oversaw programs focused on male reproductive health. He was also the program officer for the National Centers for Translational Research and Infertility P50 centers program. In addition, he spent part of his time as a program analyst in the Office of Legislation, Public Policy, and Ethics at NICHD.

Stuart was a regular participant in the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Andrology, where he presented informative and important updates on current funding trends and program initiatives at NICHD.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in his native New York City. A further description of Stuart’s life and contributions to the field of andrology is currently under development.
